The Hospital Archivist is available to assist individuals doing research in the Boston Children's Hospital Archives and will provide assistance to researchers in using the various finding aids available and in locating materials related to the topic of research. The Archivist will not conduct research for individuals, assist in the interpretation of any data or curate exhibits for individual hospital departments.

In addition, although the Archivist cannot undertake broad research inquiries, she can answer specific inquiries concerning the holdings. Researchers are welcome to submit requests in writing to the Boston Children's Hospital Archives by fax, mail or email. The Archivist will process all requests in the order in which they are received. Researchers can generally expect a response within one to two weeks.

Please note: the Archives cannot respond to genealogical or biographical questions about Children's Hospital patients.
