Healthy boys needed for study to increase understanding of DMD

Researchers have worked hard over the last 15 years to understand the genetics of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) and to identify possible mechanisms for treatments. Currently, research is happening all over the country to try to find medications that will lessen the symptoms of DMD.

While these trials are promising, we don’t yet have perfect tools to measure if these medications are effective.  We need your help to develop the tools of the future!

Boston Children's Hospital is now looking for healthy boys, ages 2 and older, to participate in a study that could have great implications for kids and adults with DMD.
