In Utero TORCH infections

How are in utero TORCH infections diagnosed?
It depends on the infection. Your baby may appear normal during prenatal ultrasounds and even as a newborn, making it difficult to identify and diagnose infants who need treatment.
For example, some TORCH infections affect hearing, but babies may not be diagnosed with a hearing disability until much later.
If you're pregnant and have any of these conditions, make an appointment to talk to your doctor.
