How do I cancel or reschedule my appointment?

If you must cancel or reschedule your child’s hematology appointment, please call 617-355-8246 at least 24 hours in advance to speak with one of our patient coordinators.

How do I get to my appointment?

Please visit our directions page to obtain driving and public transportation directions.

Can I schedule appointments at other Children's locations?

Yes. Depending on the type of care, your child may be scheduled to meet with a physician at our locations in Lexington, Peabody, Waltham or Weymouth (South Shore).

When can blood tests be done?

Our Hematology lab, staffed by highly qualified and experienced phlebotomists, is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Who should come to the appointment?

For patients under age 18, a parent or guardian must be present. For hematology patients over the age of 18, this is not required, but is still encouraged.

Can I be with my child during procedures and treatments?

Parents are welcome, but not required, to be with their child during treatments. You may prefer to wait outside and comfort your child after the procedure. Our nurses are available to help you decide what is best.
