Cerebral Palsy Program
Gait Laboratory
In order to assess complex walking problems, a gait laboratory evaluation is available on a referral basis. At this evaluation, children walk in front of a special high-speed movie camera that records each step. Electronic monitors are taped to one leg to record muscle activity during walking. This information is then processed and recorded by the computer. Our team can then study this data to determine the best treatment for your child.
The Gail Laboratory is located at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. For more information please call (617)-573-2203.
