Though his research achievements are numerous and widespread, Dr. Scott is particularly esteemed for his breakthroughs in the study of Moyamoya disease. His laboratory has examined various molecular compounds and growth factors in blood and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), which may offer clues to the onset, progression and potential treatment of this rare disease.
