Meet our team

Your child will be evaluated and treated by child neurologist Irina Anselm, MD, who has been treating patients with mitochondrial disorders for more than a decade. The program is served by a nurse, Lindsay Simmons, CNRN, who is also experienced in working with children with mitochondrial disorders.

Dr. Anselm may also refer your child to specialists from other departments at Children’s Hospital Boston, each of whom has particular expertise in treating children with mitochondrial disorders. Together, they will develop a plan for treating your child’s unique condition.
