Meet our team

Our staff of compassionate and experienced pediatric subspecialists includes clinicians and other caretakers with expertise in palliative care, symptom management, complementary medicine and speech-language pathology. Our team also includes an expert in interfaith spiritual care.

Our clinicians are focused on family-centered care: From your first visit, you’ll work with a team of professionals who are committed to supporting all of your family’s physical and psychosocial needs.

  • Joanne Wolfe, MD, MPH, Medical Director/Attending Physician
    Wolfe, PACT's medical director, is nationally-recognized for her pediatric palliative care expertise. She and other members of the PACT participate in regional and national efforts to improve care for children with advanced illness. She is board certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
  • Christina Ullrich, MD, MPH
    Ullrich is an attending physician at Children’s with expertise in pediatric palliative care and symptom management. In addition, she is an instructor of pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. She completed her medical training here at Children’s.
  • Richard Goldstein, MD
    Goldstein is a general pediatrician with expertise in palliative care and community-based medicine. He is an instructor in pediatrics at Harvard Medical School.
  • Janet Duncan, RN, MSN, CPNP
    Duncan is a hematology oncology nurse practitioner with expertise in pediatric palliative care.
  • Rita Fountain
    Fountain is the administrate associate for the Pediatric Advanced Care Team.
