The Adult Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Program at Boston Children’s Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital hosted an afternoon of entertainment, education and discussion about life with cystic fibrosis on June 17, 2012.

Held at the Wheelock Family Theatre in Boston, the event featured a special screening of "The Power ofTwo," a documentary offering an intimate look into the lives of twin sisters living with CF after double lung transplants. The event also featured breakout groups to discuss issues important to the CF and transplant communities, which were recorded and can be watched below.

Topics included:

  • Managing a busy schedule while adhering to recommended chronic pulmonary therapies for CF.  Health maintenance and sustaining a safe and healthy exercise routine for patients with CF.
  • How to raise awareness about organ donation and life after lung transplant.
