The Vascular Anomalies Center's directors:
Dr. Fishman, a pediatric surgeon, specializes in the care of patients with vascular anomalies of the viscera (internal organs), torso, neck, legs and anogenital area. He has extensive experience with debulking procedures, and an interest in Klippel-Trenaunay Syndrome and Gorham Disease.
A pediatric plastic surgeon, Dr. Mulliken's focus is the management of patients with craniofacial vascular anomalies. He is internationally recognized as the "founding father" of vascular anomalies, a premier diagnostician of vascular anomalies and a stickler for consistent word usage in the field.
Dr. Alomari, employing a superlative combination of clinical, radiologic and interventional skills, has discovered several new conditions, including CLOVES Syndrome, and has pioneered new approaches to treatment..
During his tenure as Scientific Director of the Vascular Anomalies Center, the late Dr. Folkman led an active program of research aimed at better understanding vascular biology.
