Augmentative Communication Program

Internship training

The Augmentative Communication Program at Boston Children's Hospital offers a variety of specialized graduate internship opportunities for outstanding graduate students in Speech-Language Pathology interested in augmentative and alternative communication.

All students are required to complete a six month rotation of two to three full days per week on a January 1 to June 30 or July 1 to December 31 cycle. The Augmentative Communication Program has established affiliations with the Boston-based graduate training programs although special arrangements may be made for students from other training facilities.

Additional opportunities for internships are available for Occupational Therapists interested in assistive technology.
