Welcome to Interventional Radiology. Our goal is to make your visit as comfortable as possible.

Your child will be cared for by an experienced team of professionals who specialize in children undergoing interventional procedures and treatments. The team includes pediatric interventional radiologists, nurse practitioners, nurses and technologists — all dedicated to the best possible outcome for your child.

Because many parents and children want to know what to expect when they come to our unit, we have posted helpful information here. You will probably find what you need by using the links in the left- and right- hand columns. If you have specific questions about your child's upcoming exam or procedure, our nurse practitioners are always happy to answer any questions. They can be reached at 617-355-6579.

We are located in a special suite on the second floor of the main hospital building, where we have three procedure rooms equipped with the latest imaging technology, a recovery area for patients who have received sedation or anesthesia and examining rooms for outpatient visits.
