Emergency Psychiatry Service

Children's Emergency Psychiatry Service clinicians are always working to develop the most effective treatments for our patients; we are a widely recognized leader in exploring issues of psychiatric care within pediatric emergency rooms.

Our other research initiatives include:

• developing a family-based crisis intervention program for suicidal teens, significantly reducing the need for psychiatric hospitalization
• a longitudinal study on bullying
