Project LAUNCH

Project LAUNCH (Linking Actions for Unmet Needs in Children’s Health) is a unique children’s wellness program within the Pediatric Clinic at Martha Eliot Health Center funded by the Boston Public Health Commission. We work with children ages 0-8 and their families to help them reach social, emotional, and behavioral milestones so that they are prepared to thrive at home, in school, and in their communities. The Project LAUNCH team is composed of a Family Partner with experience navigating systems of care for children, and an Early Childhood Specialist with experience in young children’s social-emotional development. Referral reasons include: caregiver (parent, teacher, primary care provider) concerns about children’s emotions or behaviors; family stressors which are impacting young children; and a desire for parenting education/support and community resources.
