Advocating Success for Kids (ASK) Program

Who we serve

•  ASK serves approximately 250 children in 500 visits per year.
   
• The population is largely urban, with almost 90 percent of patients enrolled in local public schools.
   
• Our population is predominantly Black and Latino (88%), reflecting the population served in these community health center settings.
   
• Patients treated typically have diagnoses such as learning disabilities, ADHD, disruptive behavior, language delays and a variety of more specific mood or developmental disorders. Almost 15% of children who come to ASK have no diagnosis, but were in need of additional parenting and other social supports.
