Timeliness Measures
By providing timely care, we reduce waiting times and other delays that can be harmful to both those receiving care and those providing it. Some examples of timeliness measures include:
-
Reducing emergency room lengths of stay to ensure that children do not remain in busy and chaotic ERs any longer than is necessary.
- Immunizing children according to the recommendations of the American Academy of Pediatrics to help protect children from common infections that can lead to serious and even life-threatening complications.
