Innovation Acceleration Program

The FIT award (sponsored by the Innovation Acceleration Program and the Information Service Department) offers software development resources dedicated to rapid cycle development of promising innovative ideas in clinical care. A team of experienced software developers in partnership with innovators work to rapidly develop software solutions for use in clinical care. 

 

FIT also offers Catalyst Consulting Services to help Children's employees with brainstorming, creating proposals and acting as a sounding board before an idea gets to the appropriate group or program. In addition to the creation of prototypes for approved projects, FIT can help find and work with outside contractors. FIT can also help by providing guidance and review on topics such as gathering and analyzing requirements, contracts, building and buying issues, vendor proposals, time and cost estimates and system integration.
