Liver Tumor Program

We are committed to moving the field of liver transplantation for pediatric hepatic malignancies forward. Our liver transplant team has focused on the feasibility of minimizing post-transplant immunosuppression in patients who have been pre-treated with chemotherapy. Through our participation in the Boston Children's Oncology Group's hepatoblastoma therapeutic trials, rare tumor biology studies and the international registry for Pediatric Liver Transplantation for hepatic malignancies, we contribute to knowledge about pediatric hepatic malignancies and the indications for liver transplantation in the management of these diseases.
