Refugee Collaborative Group
The Refugee Collaborative group is a National Child Traumatic Stress Network working group chaired by Dr. Heidi Ellis. The group is composed of members from centers throughout the NCTSN who work with children and families who have experienced forced displacement. The group aims to raise the standard of care for refugee children.
Refugee Services Toolkit
The Refugee Services Toolkit (RST) is a web-based tool designed to help service system providers understand the experiences of refugee children and families, identify the needs associated with their mental health, and ensure that they are connected with the most appropriate available interventions and resources.
Refugee Health and Technical Assistance Center (RHTAC)
Dr. Ellis holds a leadership role with the Refugee Health and Technical Assistance Center, which is funded by the Office of Refugee Resettlement and involves a partnership of several agencies including the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH). CHCRTR provides technical assistance to RHTAC to improve the standard of care for refugees.
