Certified in pediatrics, Dr. Almond is a graduate of the Harvard University School of Public Health and the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.

A recent graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Pediatric Acute/Chronic Nurse Practitioner Program, Jenna has years of pediatric experience, in particular in our own Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit. She is now the nurse practitioner for the Cardiology Anticoagulation Monitoring Program (CAMP).

A clinical nutrition specialist for the Preventive Cardiology Program, Skylar is a licensed registered dietitian and nutrition counselor specializing in a variety of nutrition-related conditions, including anticoagulation.
Skylar has experience working in pediatric and family nutrition; eating disorders; weight management; cardiac risk factors, including hypertension (high blood pressure), high cholesterol and obesity; diabetes and overall wellness.
She received her undergraduate degree in Dietetics from Syracuse University and her Masters of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University.

Roger Dionne, PharmD
Since 2000, Roger has been a pharmacist (Level III) and critical care team leader, working with the Heart Center. He holds adjunct clinical faculty appointments at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Northeastern University College of Pharmacy. Roger received his BS in Pharmacy from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in Boston in 1976, and his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Kentucky in 1980. He served as an assistant professor of Pharmacy at the University of Rhode Island from 1980-1983 and was a pediatric pharmacy specialist at the Boston Floating Hospital (New England Medical Center) from 1983 – 2000.
Amy Hellinger, PharmD, BCPS
Specializing in pediatric pharmacy, Amy works with the Heart Center and the CAMP team. She is a 2007 graduate of the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy. Before coming to Boston Children’s, Amy completed a residency at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Hospital, working in their adult anticoagulation program.
