Adult Congenital Heart Service

About us

Boston Children's Hospital has been home to some of the greatest medical and social innovations for adults with congenital heart diseases. Our BACH service is staffed by specially trained doctors and nurses who are dedicated to:

  • providing a full range of inpatient and outpatient clinical services to adults with congenital heart disease and adults with pulmonary hypertension
  • advancing and improving their care through research and innovation
  • teaching new generations of health care professionals about this unique patient population

By coming to Children's, you have made the choice to learn more about who you are medically and more about the physical, emotional, medical, and social options available to you. These choices are greater than ever.

Today, more adults with congenital heart diseases are functioning at high levels in society, exercising, undergoing catheter and surgical based interventions and advocating for themselves and their medical peers.

By learning about all of your options, you become increasingly empowered in your care and your future. Our goal is to help you find your own pathway to medical success.
