Research

For more than 50 years, Children’s has pioneered solutions to cardiovascular problems that have dramatically improved the survival rate and quality of life for children born with heart defects.

Clinical trials

A clinical trial is a research study to answer specific questions about vaccines or new therapies or new ways of using known treatments. If your child’s doctor recommends participation in one of Children’s clinical trials, that likely means that they believe that the plan outlined in that trial represents the absolute best, latest care your child can possibly receive.

At any given time, Children’s has hundreds of clinical trials underway. Click here to learn more about clinical trials available through the Heart center at Children’s.
