OPENPediatrics: A new, Web-based educational platform for clinicians around the globe, which provides multimedia and interactive training resources for physicians and nurses worldwide who care for critically ill children.

International Health Services:For physicians sending patients to the United States, please contact Boston Children’s International Health Services, which facilitates the medical review of patient records and appointment scheduling and provides assistance with customs and immigration, transportation and hotel and housing accommodations. Our physicians provide each patient with the best possible care, and communicate with their doctors overseas both during the treatment process and after, safely transitioning patients back to their home countries.

Education: Fellowships, observerships and continuing medical education (CMEs) are available at Boston Children’s Hospital to qualified applicants.

Fellowships: Fellowship opportunities are available at Boston Children's Hospital to qualified physicians from all over the world who have completed residency training. These programs provide additional training in a clinical subspecialty or preparation for research and academic careers.

Observerships: The Observership Program at Boston Children's Hospital is an orientation for medical graduates who wish to update their clinical and educational skills in a particular specialty. Each observer will be matched with a faculty member who will serve as their mentor during their observer training at Boston Children's Hospital.

Continuing Medical Education: Boston Children’s Hospital offers opportunities to attend Continuing Medical Education (CME) courses held in or near Boston, Massachusetts. Courses focus on various pediatric specialty topics and may be tailored to primary care practitioners, pediatric subspecialists, nurses, residents and fellows-in-training and allied health professionals.
