Logan International Airport
Logan International Airport in Boston is the closest airport to Boston Children's Hospital, approximately seven miles from the hospital. You can get to the hospital from the airport via public transportation. (Please allow 15 to 60 minutes travel time depending on time of day and traffic.) There is not a hospital-designated shuttle.

Other area airports
Manchester Airport in Manchester, New Hampshire, and TF Green Airport in Providence, Rhode Island are both approximately a one-hour drive from Children's. They may be less-expensive options.

Miracle Flights for Kids
Miracle Flights for Kids is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to helping very sick children overcome financial obstacles that prevent them from getting access to the correct medical care and treatment. Miracle Flights for Kids flies children who are struggling with serious cancers and debilitating diseases and disorders to specialized medical treatment centers throughout the United States. Any child needing medical treatment or is seeking a second opinion that is not available in their area is eligible to apply for a miracle mission.

Angel Flight NE
Angel Flight is a non-profit organization that provides free airplane transportation to hospitals for patients and families whose financial resources prohibit them from traveling by other means to get the diagnostic services or treatments they need.

Angel Flight NE is available 24 hours a day and serves all six New England states, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and most of the eastern United States. Angel Flight NE also will fly blood, organs, medical supplies and personnel.

Angel Flight pilots are dedicated volunteers who donate their time and flying skills to help others. All are licensed by the Federal Aviation  Administration (FAA).
