  • Hometown: Overland Park, Kan.
  • Pharmacy school: University of Kansas School of Pharmacy
  • PGY-1 site: Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital (Roanoke, Va.)
  • Professional interests: Medical critical care, endocrinology, complex care
  • What do you like to do in your free time? I love to run, especially along the Charles River! I prefer outdoor to indoor activities. I have also been enjoying exploring restaurants in Boston.
  • Why Boston Children’s Hospital for PGY2 training? Boston Children’s Hospital is a world-renowned hospital specializing in the smallest of patients. I was immediately drawn to unique cases and treatments pursued at Boston Children’s. I knew this would be an outstanding place to learn. The people at Boston Children’s are so welcoming and make this place feel like home.

  • Hometown: Boston (specifically South Boston)
  • Pharmacy school: MCPHS University — Boston
  • PGY-1 site: St. Francis Children’s Hospital (Tulsa, Okla.)
  • Professional interests: General pediatrics, heme/onc, amb care (CF and diabetes), academia
  • What do you like to do in your free time? I'm my free time, I enjoy baking and listening to audio books (currently listening to Dune). I love playing board games and doing escape rooms with friends. In the winter, I also like to ice skate (though I’m not that good).
  • Why Boston Children’s Hospital for PGY2 training? I wanted to peruse a residency at Boston Children’s for two reasons. The first is that I knew I would be able to see so many unique and specialized things, allowing me to hone my clinical skills. The second is that I wanted to give back to my community. I was treated at Boston Children’s when I was younger, so I wanted to help provide care to patients like I had received.
