Boston HAPPENS provides services to youth 13 to 25 (and primary care patients of the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine) who are HIV positive or at risk for the disease and other STIs. HAPPENS also offers HIV counseling and testing and hepatitis C testing for teens and young adults as well as STI (syphilis, gonorrhea, and chlamydia) testing. All testing will be billed through your insurance.

For youth with recent known exposures to HIV, or for victims of sexual assault, we offer Post Exposure Prophylaxis (nPEP) treatment and follow-up services, which can greatly reduce the chance of HIV infection. For those who are HIV negative but at high risk, our interdisciplinary team offers education and clinical consultation for Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), which helps prevent HIV infection.

Please call 617-355-2735 for hours and more information.
