Our goal is to develop new biomaterials based solutions to improve care for cardiovascular and critical illnesses. Some of current interests include: intravenous oxygen delivery for resuscitation of cardiac arrest, design novel gas carriers for gas therapies, ultrasound-assisted theranostics (e.g., intracardiac pressure sensing), microbubbles and nanobubbles, gas therapies for hypbaric medicine (e.g., decompression sickness), synthetic (non-viral) carriers for drug delivery.
