Dr. Anne Hseu always knew she wanted to go into medicine. And during her pediatric otolaryngology fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital, she realized she’d found her home. Though she loves treating patients clinically, Dr. Hseu’s favorite place to be in the hospital is the operating room, where she can make a physical difference and see her patients benefit shortly after.
Dr. Hseu specializes in pediatric voice and laryngeal disorders. She is extensively trained in microlaryngeal surgery and use of the potassium titanyl phosphate laser to treat problems such as early glottic cancer, recurrent respiratory papillomatosis, vocal fold paralysis and airway stenosis. Watch as Dr. Hseu discusses her work, advances in the field of pediatric voice care, and the privilege of working with children and their families.
