When Dr. Dominic Abrams was a trainee, he was inspired by how an attending doctor drew a picture of a congenital heart defect, explaining a complex diagnosis to a family while also bringing them comfort. He does the same now as a cardiologist and co-director of Boston Children’s Center for Cardiovascular Genetics, caring for patients with inherited arrythmia syndromes and cardiomyopathies.
