The Neuroscience Center offers nearly 40 specialty programs and services.

Autism Spectrum Center
The Autism Spectrum Center provides comprehensive, family-centered diagnostic, and care services for children with autism spectrum disorder.

Brain Development and Genetics (BrDG) Clinic
Our program offers the most up-to-date assessment and diagnosis possible for your child’s brain development disorder, bridging the fields of neurology, cardiology, genetic counseling, and research.

Brain Injury Center
Our clinicians are international leaders in treating brain injuries, from mild concussions to the most severe traumatic brain injuries. Our unique approach to treating brain injuries is helping to define the best practices in care for brain injuries, from early response through inpatient care and long-term follow-up.

Brain Tumor Center
At the Brain Tumor Center at Dana-Farber/Boston Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Center, your child will receive care from many of the world's most experienced pediatric brain tumor specialists.

Bullying & Cyberbullying Prevention & Advocacy Collaborative (BACPAC)
BACPAC was founded in 2009 as an anti-bullying resource for physicians’ caregivers, families, and school administration. In 2011, Peter Raffalli, MD, and a team of pediatric experts launched a formal clinic, which has helped more than 100 children since its inception. The BACPAC program is the first of its kind nationwide.

CDKL5 Clinic
Our CDKL5 Clinic offers children with CDKL5 disorder specialized care from programs throughout Boston Children’s Hospital.

Cerebral Palsy and Spasticity Center
Our Cerebral Palsy and Spasticity Center — the oldest and most comprehensive in the country — has been at the forefront of cerebral palsy (CP) diagnosis and treatment for over 60 years. We are one of the world’s leading diagnostic and treatment centers for children with CP and spasticity.

Cerebrovascular Surgery and Interventions Center
We care for children and young adults with cerebrovascular disease (CVD), a group of conditions affecting blood vessels in and around the brain and the spine. Our center is unique in that every facet of our approach to children with CVD, from initial consultation to treatment to follow-up, is collaborative and customized to each child’s needs.

Cleft and Craniofacial Center
The Cleft and Craniofacial Center at Boston Children’s Hospital is world renowned for comprehensive treatment and innovative research. Every year, our craniofacial specialists treat more than 1,800 patients — from infants to adults — living with craniofacial conditions that are either present at birth or developed later in life.

Epilepsy Center
The Epilepsy Center at Boston Children's offers evaluation, testing, treatment, and counseling for children with epilepsy and seizures. We offer a full range of epilepsy care, including medication-based treatment for seizures and comprehensive evaluation for epilepsy surgery, when needed.

Epilepsy Genetics Program
The Boston Children's Epilepsy Genetics Program was founded in 2011 with the aim of helping children and families with known or suspected genetic epilepsy syndromes.

Fetal-Neonatal Neurology Program
We provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment for young children who have experienced a brain injury or have a congenital neurological condition. Because newborns’ brains are in a crucial window of rapid development, we identify problems as early as possible and intervene quickly.

Head, Neck and Skull Base Surgery Program
The Head, Neck and Skull Base Surgery Program at Boston Children's provides comprehensive care for children with congenital anomalies and tumors of the head, neck, and skull base.

Headache Program
Our specialists in the Headache Program at Boston Children’s have great expertise in diagnosing the various types of pediatric headaches and their causes. We help young patients manage their headache pain and continue or return to their regular activities to live life uninterrupted by pain.

Hydrocephalus Program
The Boston Children's Hydrocephalus Program treats children with all forms of hydrocephalus — an excess of cerebrospinal fluid inside or around the brain.

Learning Disabilities Program
Our program offers a comprehensive evaluation for children who face challenges in cognitive (thinking), academic, and social development. Our evaluations give parents, teachers, and physicians a well-rounded understanding of a child's learning profile and provide recommendations to help address the difficulties they encounter.

Fetal Care and Surgery Center
The Fetal Care and Surgery Center (MFCC) provides diagnosis, ongoing screening, and care for a mother carrying a baby with a confirmed or suspected congenital anomaly.

Medulloblastoma Program
Children from around the world come to the Medulloblastoma Program at Dana-Farber/Boston Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Center for treatment of these rare, invasive tumors. Our specialists have the expertise to accurately diagnose medulloblastomas, which are often confused with other similar types of brain tumors.

Mitochondrial Program
Boston Children's Mitochondrial Program has extensive experience diagnosing and treating children with suspected mitochondrial disorders.

Moyamoya Program
The Moyamoya Program at Boston Children’s Hospital provides the full spectrum of diagnostic, consultation, surgical, and follow-up care services for children and adolescents with moyamoya. Our program is the largest center of its kind in the country, and our team is the most experienced in caring for children and adolescents with this rare condition.

Neurocritical Care Program
Boston Children’s is home to the nation's first comprehensive Pediatric Neurocritical Care Program. Combining expertise across medical, surgical, and imaging specialties, our program is devoted to protecting and treating the brains of critically ill and injured children.

Neurofibromatosis Program
Our multidisciplinary neurofibromatosis team at Boston Children's offers comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, follow-up care, and genetic counseling for individuals with known or suspected neurofibromatosis.

Neurogenetics Program
The Neurogenetics Program at Boston Children’s is a collaboration of multiple clinics and medical professionals to provide specialty care for children with neurogenetic disorders and their families.

Neurometabolic Program
We see children with known metabolic disorders that include neurological signs and symptoms, as well as children with developmental delays or neurological problems that stem from metabolic disorders.

Neuromotor Therapy Program
The Neuromotor Therapy Program at Boston Children’s is a consultation service for children with movement disorders related to early life brain injury. Our central goal is to help them reach their full potential in all aspects of motor skills.

Neuromuscular Center
The neurologists and other specialists in our program are experienced in treating children with muscular dystrophy and other myopathies, neuropathies, motor neuron diseases, and neuromuscular junction disorders.

Pediatric Multiple Sclerosis and Related Disorders Program
At our Pediatric Multiple Sclerosis and Related Disorders Program at Boston Children’s, we care for children and teens with multiple sclerosis as well as acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM), acute transverse myelitis (ATM), and optic neuritis.

Pediatric Neuro-immunology Program
In our Pediatric Neuro-immunology Program at Boston Children’s, we care for children and adolescents who have autoimmune disorders that affect their central nervous system (the brain and spinal cord).

Rett Syndrome Program
Our Rett Syndrome Program is dedicated to helping children and adults who have Rett syndrome and related conditions develop to their full potential. Our program is the only specialized Rett syndrome program in New England and have been designated as a Research and Clinical Center of Excellence by Rettsyndrome.org.

Sleep Center
Our Sleep Center was the first pediatric center of its kind nationwide, and our work is backed by decades of research that has shaped the field of pediatric sleep medicine. We have extensive expertise in helping families struggling with sleep problems ranging from the most common to the most complex.

Spina Bifida and Congenital Spinal Anomalies Center
We recognize the diagnosis of spina bifida requires life-long management. No matter the complexity of your child’s spina bifida, our center offers the most comprehensive care at each stage of your child’s life, from infancy through early adulthood.

Spinal Muscular Atrophy Program
The Spinal Muscular Atrophy Program at Boston Children’s brings together a team of specialists who are experienced in caring for children with this rare and complex condition.

Stroke and Cerebrovascular Center
At the Stroke and Cerebrovascular Center at Boston Children’s we see children of all ages — from newborns through adolescents — with a variety of stroke and stroke-related conditions. As the only multidisciplinary pediatric stroke center in the northeastern U.S., our team is dedicated to caring for children with stroke, non-traumatic bleeding in the brain, and other cerebrovascular disorders.

Sturge-Weber Syndrome Clinic
The Sturge-Weber Clinic at Boston Children's Hospital cares for children who have Sturge-Weber syndrome. Our clinic is one of 10 Centers of Excellence in the U.S. recognized by the Sturge-Weber Foundation.

Tethered Spinal Cord Program
The Boston Children’s Hospital Tethered Spinal Cord Program provides a full range of care for children with tethered spinal cord syndrome, or tethered cord. Our program includes some of the world’s most experienced neurosurgeons, imaging specialists, neuroscience nurses, and health care professionals.

Tuberous Sclerosis Program
Children with tuberous sclerosis often need to see several specialists to manage the symptoms and complications of this condition. The Boston Children’s Tuberous Sclerosis Program brings together the expertise of all of these physicians in one specialized program.

Vascular Anomalies Center
The Vascular Anomalies Center at Boston Children’s is an interdisciplinary team of experts that specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care of patients with vascular anomalies. We are regarded as the premier center in the world for these disorders and many of our physicians are internationally renowned for their expertise and innovations in this highly specialized field.
