Emma Rademacher | Professional History

Emma received her Bachelor of Science in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from Boston University. She also obtained her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Boston University, where she developed a passion for pediatric feeding and swallowing. After completing her post-graduate Clinical Fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital, Emma continues to provide care for families as a Speech-Language Pathologist on the Feeding & Swallowing Team here at Children's. She evaluates and treats pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders through the Growth and Nutrition Program, in outpatient clinical feeding visits, and in Modified Barium Swallow studies.

I believe in a family-centered, culturally responsive approach to care and in creating a safe space for patients and families to express concerns, communicate goals, and ask questions. I use evidence-based practice to support my clinical decisions and recommendations. I enjoy building a strong rapport with families and leading with curiosity and empathy.
