Eric Levin | Professional History

After having worked at larger group practices elsewhere in suburban Boston, Dr. Levin opened Neponset Valley Pediatrics in 2000. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and has been a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics since 1995. Dr. Levin is a member of the medical staff of Boston Children’s Hospital. He enjoys teaching and has trained medical students at Harvard and medical and physician assistant students at Boston University, earning the title of Instructor of Pediatrics at Boston University School of Medicine. As the father of two daughters, Dr. Levin has experienced many of the same issues and dilemmas that have faced his patients and is able to discuss these issues drawing from his own personal experience. He is also a vociferous member of Red Sox Nation.

Having worked in larger practice settings previously, I prefer working in a small pediatric practice like Neponset Valley Pediatrics. The opportunity to relate to the kids and their families on a personal level is why I became a pediatrician in the first place. In short, it's simple. I get to know the patients and their families...the patients and their families get to know me.
