Julie Han | Professional History
Julie Han, MD, is a Sports Medicine Physician in the Division of Sports Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital. As a Sports Medicine physician, Dr. Han specializes in non-surgical orthopedic care for conditions affecting tendons, bones, joints, muscles, and ligaments. She is conservative in her management and prioritizes an evidence-based treatment approach. Dr. Han sees patients in Peabody and Waltham.
Dr. Han enjoys taking care of active patients and athletes in various sports at all levels. Whether it is a high-level athlete with an acute injury, a recreational athlete with a chronic injury, or an elderly patient wanting to stay active, Dr. Han’s goal is to provide individualized care to help patients return to their active and healthy lifestyles.
Dr. Han’s clinical and research interests include the areas of artistic sports, musculoskeletal ultrasound, platelet-rich plasma, and regenerative medicine. Dr. Han is a former professional figure skater and performed onboard a cruise ship prior to her medical career. She continues to follow her passion for figure skating by serving as a team physician for United States Figure Skating.
