Kathryn Davidson | Professional History

Katie completed her post-graduate clinical fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital and has continued her career here since, specializing in evaluation and treatment of pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders. Katie has a special interest in clinical and instrumental assessment of medically complex infants and children, with a primary focus in airway and esophageal disorders. She is a lead clinician within several multidisciplinary clinics including the Center for Airway Disorders and the Esophageal and Airway Treatment Center and remains actively engaged in research within these centers. She is board certified in swallowing and swallowing disorders, and she recently obtained her CLC in an effort to better support breastfeeding dyads. Katie is also passionate about mentorship of graduate students and clinical fellows. She serves as adjunct faculty at Boston University teaching the pediatric dysphagia graduate level course, and she coordinates the graduate student internship program within the Feeding and Swallowing Program.
