Laurie Krantz Chorev | Professional History

Ms. Chorev is a graduate of the University of Rochester and Purdue University. Prior coming to Boston Children’s Hospital, Ms. Chorev completed her post-graduate clinical fellowship at the Braintree Rehabilitation Hospital Pediatric Center in Braintree, MA. She joined the staff in the Speech-Language Pathology Department at Boston Children’s Hospital following her clinical fellowship.

Ms. Chorev’s principal clinical responsibilities include speech and language evaluations and therapy in the Lexington site. She has been involved with the Cleft Lip and Palate Program and the Craniofacial Programs in the past. In addition, Ms. Chorev has clinical interest and experience in various populations including toddler, preschool, school-age, and adolescent speech and language disorders. She has advanced training in resonance disorders and the Orton-Gillingham reading program, and participates in training of clinical fellows and graduate students from local universities.
