Leslie Spaneas

Leslie Spaneas, MPH, RN, CCRP, joined the Division of Nephrology as a clinical research nurse in 2000. She earned her BS in Nursing from the University of Florida and completed her MPH education at Boston University School of Public Health. Leslie has extensive experience coordinating pediatric nephrology research. For over 15 years, she has been a member of the Boston Children’s Hospital lead research team for the NIH-sponsored multicenter clinical trials to advance renal transplantation in children. In addition, she coordinates studies of investigational medications & devices and also, research exploring the genetics of kidney, urinary tract, and related disorders. Previous experience includes pediatric oncology & bone marrow transplant nursing, and Safety & Environmental Health.
