Professional History

Marissa graduated from Bridgewater State University in 2014 with a BS in Medical Biology and minor in Art. She received her BSN and MSN from Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts, specializing in Pediatric Primary Care. Marissa was certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board in 2021 as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She has experience in both adult and pediatric care in a variety of settings. She spent 4 years as a resource nurse for the Town of Sharon Public Schools where her primary focus had been the care of children with chronic medical conditions. She also has 3 years of experience as a camp nurse at Dream Day on Cape Cod, a camp for children with rare diseases and their families.

I have a passion for providing patient- and family-centered care for patients from infancy through early adulthood. I have always had a clinical interest in rare diseases and genetics.
