Mary Begg, CPNP, completed her graduate nursing studies in Baltimore, Maryland, at the Johns Hopkins University in December 2009. She worked in a pediatric primary care practice in Baltimore before returning to Massachusetts in 2011 and has been working at Pediatric Health Care Associates since September 2011. Her clinical interests include preventative care, nutrition, adolescents (e.g., birth control), acne (e.g., Accutane), asthma and allergies, and sports medicine. She enjoys seeing newborns after discharge from the hospital and following their growth and development through the end of the college years. Mary’s goal is to provide the best care to children and their families to ensure their continued success into adulthood.

I believe that prevention is the key to overall health and well-being. Therefore, working in pediatrics has allowed me to prioritize and provide care for each child so that they can become thriving young adults in the future. I can assist each child and their family in the care and prevention of illness, psychological well-being, nutrition, and can monitor their growth and developmental progress.
