Professional History

Spenser Bowers started her nursing career at Westwood-Mansfield Pediatrics Associates after graduating from Simmons College in 2014. After a few years in the primary care setting, she decided to explore other avenues of community nursing and started with BAYADA Home Health Care. During her 6 years as a registered nurse at BAYADA, she worked with a number of different pediatric clients with varying medical complexities. In 2019, she decided to pursue her goal of becoming a pediatric NP. After a challenging two years in the midst of a global pandemic, she graduated with honors from MGH Institute of Health Professions. She is excited to be back with Westwood-Mansfield Pediatric Associates and looks forward to serving her community as a primary care provider.

As a primary care provider in pediatrics, I have the unique opportunity to focus on disease prevention and health maintenance. With access to vaccines, nutrition support, and regular screenings, my primary care colleagues and I can help children live healthy and happy lives that last long into their adulthood.
