Stacey Schley | Professional History
Stacey Schley, MD is a Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician with subspecialty training in Sports Endocrinology. With a background in exercise science and personal training, she understands how to optimize injury recovery and sports performance. She has provided sideline coverage at all levels of play, including high schools, collegiate coverage for Georgia Tech, and professional coverage for the Detroit Red Wings, Atlanta Hawks, Falcons, and Atlanta & Boston Ballet.
Her clinical practice includes the treatment of non-operative sports medicine injuries and diagnostic and procedural ultrasound. As part of the Female Athlete Program, she additionally manages sports performance concerns, relative energy deficiency in sport, and eating disorders/disordered eating in athletes.
Her research interests include youth sports specialization, injury prevention, and sports performance. In her spare time, Stacey can be found weightlifting at the gym.
