Tiffany Folks | Professional History

Tiffany has a diverse background in advanced practice nursing, bedside pediatric critical care, nursing education and leadership. Tiffany joined Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School Teaching Hospital in 2019 with the distinct honor of participating in the highly competitive Cardiovascular and Critical Care Nurse Practitioner Fellowship Program. After successful completion of the rigorous training program, she was granted a full-time position in the Ambulatory Cardiology Department where she cares for patients in the preoperative clinic and general cardiology clinic. Additionally, she cares for post-cardiovascular surgical patients on the Acute Care Cardiology Unit.

Throughout my professional journey, I have committed to improving the care of underrepresented communities. I participated in a collaborative “Hospitals for Humanity”, a team of international physicians, nurses and pharmacists, to provide open heart surgeries in rural Nigeria. Additionally, I have participated in numerous local community blood pressure screenings and health care summits/educational offerings.

I have presented poster presentations in local and national conferences and co-authored published articles. I truly believe that a faithful ambassador brings healing to all aspects of one's life...physical and spiritual well- being, education, and food/shelter.
