Tracey Terrazzano | Professional History

Therasa (Tracey) Terrazzano is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who joined Needham Pediatrics in June 2014. Tracey's role is to provide assessment and counseling services for Needham Pediatrics patients who are experiencing behavioral health problems such as anxiety, depression, temper tantrums, oppositional behavior, or disordered eating. For patients who require short-term or less intensive therapy, Tracey may be able to serve all of the patients' needs herself. If a patient will require more intensive, longer-term, or specialized therapy, Tracey will help arrange a transition to the appropriate mental health professionals in the community.

Tracey received her undergraduate degree at Illinois State University and pursued her Masters in Social Work at Southern Illinois University. Tracey has worked extensively in the Boston area in an outreach capacity to school systems, as a clinical supervisor to other therapists and interns, and as a therapist herself. Prior to joining Needham Pediatrics, Tracey had a private practice on the North Shore and worked as a clinician with the Massachusetts Child Psychiatry Access Project.

Tracey resides in the MetroWest area with her husband and two children.
