The Boston Children’s Hospital Division of Hematology/Oncology works as part of an integrated pediatric hematology and oncology program alongside the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Together, we form the Dana-Farber/Boston Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Center. Our hematologists and oncologists are among the world leaders in their respective specialties; many of our physicians have pioneered treatments for pediatric cancer and blood disorders that have been adopted by the medical communities around the globe. Caring for more than 5,000 children each year, we have more experience treating children and young adults with cancer and blood disorders than any other center in New England and most centers in the United States.
Our patients receive inpatient care at Boston Children’s Hospital and most outpatient care at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s Jimmy Fund Clinic. Working together, we provide more specialists, more programs, and more clinical trials than almost any other pediatric center treating cancer and blood disorders in the world.
