Introducing FLU Vaccine Clinics for 2021
DUE TO LIMITED FLU VACCINE SUPPLY AT THIS TIME, WE ARE STARTING WITH JUST A FEW CLINICS.
WE WILL BE ADDING CLINICS AS WE RECEIVE MORE VACCINE
Framingham Pediatrics will start offering flu vaccine in the following ways:
- Patients and siblings who are in the office for a regular check-up or a sick visit without a high fever.
- MULTIPLE PRE-SCHEDULED FLU CLINIC APPOINTMENTS USING MYCHART
NO WALK-IN FLU VACCINATION
AT ANY TIME
Currently scheduled patient visits:
Any patient, or sibling, who has a scheduled visit in the office will be offered the flu vaccine.
If a parent would like a non-scheduled sibling to get a flu vaccine while they are in the office, we ask that you PLEASE let us know ahead of time.
FLU CLINICS:
Our UPCOMING FLU clinics will be:
Thursday, November 4: 1:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Wednesday, November 10: 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Thursday, November 11: 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Framingham Pediatrics will continue to provide vaccine to patients and siblings who are in the office for a regular check-up or a sick visit without a high fever as supplies last. If a parent would like a non-scheduled sibling to get a flu vaccine while they are in the office, we ask that you PLEASE let us know ahead of time.
We are unable to do walk-in flu vaccine at this time.

ALL FLU CLINIC APPOINTMENTS
MUST BE PRE-SCHEDULED THRU MYCHART
As a reminder:
Patients need to PRE-SCHEDULE a FLU VACCINE CLINIC appointment using the MyChart "Schedule an appointment" feature.
To schedule an appointment via MyChart:
- You must have a parent "PROXY" account and/or a specific patient account for children 13 years of age and older
- OPEN the proxy or patient account. PLEASE NOTE: A PROXY CAN SCHEDULE ALL APPOINTMENTS FOR PATIENTS THAT THEY HAVE ACCESS TO (even if the patient is 13 years of age or older-however, once the appointment is booked, it can only be seen on the patient account). Patients 18 years of age or older must use their own MyChart account to schedule an appointment.
- On a smartphone, CLICK on the "APPOINTMENT" icon and then "schedule an appointment". On a desktop, CLICK on "schedule an appointment " under the "Visits" dropdown list.
- On a smartphone, CLICK "tell us why you are coming" and then on either device, CLICK "Flu Shot".
- CLICK on the date and time you want, i.e., Thursday September 7, 11:00 AM
- Type "flu shot" in the required box and CLICK "Schedule"
- YOU WILL NEED TO COMPLETE PRE-VISIT VALIDATION PRIOR TO THE APPOINTMENT
- REPEAT THESE STEPS FOR EACH PATIENT
FINALLY: YOU WILL NEED TO COMPLETE OUR FLU CLINIC QUESTIONNAIRE
WITHIN 2 DAYS BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT.

We ask that you use the MyChart appointment scheduling feature so that we can keep our phones and staff available for patients who need urgent advice or appointments.
****If you get a flu shot at a pharmacy or other location, PLEASE use MyChat to message us with documentation of the vaccination, so we can update the medical record****
