Carolyn Lubenow | Professional History

Ms. Lubenow is a graduate of Boston University and the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. She completed her post-graduate clinical fellowship at Rhode Island Hospital/Hasbro Children’s Hospital. Following her clinical fellowship, Ms. Lubenow remained at Rhode Island Hospital/Hasbro Children’s Hospital, where she focused primarily on Pediatric Feeding and Swallowing disorders across both inpatient and outpatient settings. She additionally participated in multidisciplinary clinics, including the Pediatric Gastroenterology Feeding Team and the Craniofacial Clinic. She has also worked at UMass Memorial Medical Center, where she assessed and treated feeding/swallowing and communication skills in patients of a variety of ages, ranging from neonates to the geriatric population, primarily in the inpatient setting. Ms. Lubenow joined the Feeding and Swallowing Program at Boston Children’s Hospital in 2016. Her clinical work includes diagnostic feeding and swallowing evaluations and treatment, primarily in the outpatient setting, and modified barium swallow studies. She is also involved in the Growth and Nutrition Program, a multidisciplinary program that treats children from birth through school-age with feeding difficulties and suboptimal weight gain.
