Tracy Myers | Professional History
Tracy Myers, RN, BSN, CPN, AE-C. started her role as Boston Children’s Hospital’s first Practice Liaison Nurse in 2015. Tracy brings to the role more than 25 years of pediatric nursing experience, and nearly a decade of service to Boston Children's, starting in the Primary Care Center, providing well child care and urgent care to children with chronic care health issues, complicated family dynamics and developmental concerns. In 2011, she played a key role in the opening of Boston Children's at Peabody. A mother of two, Tracy is well versed in the challenges around accessing medical care.
In her role as Practice Liaison Nurse, Tracy assists with complex referrals which need clinical follow up to ensure the patient is seen by the appropriate Boston Children’s department, clinic or specialty program. With over 140 departments, clinics and programs at Boston Children’s, Tracy is able to help referring physicians navigate to the right sub-specialty, as well as provide care coordination of national patients with complex medical needs and those requiring multiple appointments during their visit.
