Michelle Mo | Professional History
Dr. Michelle Mo is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon on staff at Boston Children’s Hospital. She grew up in New Jersey and ventured to Washington University in St. Louis where she obtained a degree in biology. She then pursued a PhD in translational research at Yale University. However, she found her true passion in medicine and obtained her medical degree at Stony Brook University after completing her PhD. She then returned to Washington University in St. Louis for residency training in Orthopedic Surgery. She completed her Fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery at Boston Children's Hospital before joining the Orthopedic Center.
Dr. Mo's primary clinical focus include lower extremity disorders such as clubfeet, congenital limb differences, skeletal dysplasias, orthopedic trauma, and neuromuscular conditions. Dr. Mo is an active member of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America (POSNA). She also continues to have strong research interests, particularly focusing on her area of practice which includes limb lengthening and reconstructive surgery and lower extremity disorders.
