Tim's research interests include Sepsis and Quality Improvement. As a fellow at Morristown Medical Center, Tim was part of the team that received national recognition by the Children's Hospital Association for their improvements in early sepsis recognition and timely treatment, as part of the IPSO collaborative. They presented their findings at the IPSO Spring 2023 Workshop and are planning to present at SAEM's 2024 annual conference. Tim is excited to continue his work in sepsis research at Boston Children's Hospital.

Tim was born and raised in Arlington Massachusetts with his younger brother Greg. He attended Boston College and graduated with a BS in Biology. During the three years between college and medical school, Tim volunteered at Dana Farber and at Hospice of the North Shore, and started his own tutoring company. He attended SUNY Downstate College of Medicine from 2013-2017. He completed his training in Pediatrics Residency at UMASS-Baystate in 2020 and his fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Morristown Medical Center in 2023. He is very excited to be back home, and to be working as a Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician at Boston Children's Hospital and South Shore Hospital. Tim's wife Filza is a general pediatrician at North Shore Pediatrics. They have two shichon poo puppies named Theo and Ollie.
