Today, thanks to minimally invasive surgery at Boston Children’s and loads of focused training, Jacob is moving the ball and scoring points with superior speed, skill, and agility. Way to go, Jacob! When Georgia’s parents first brought her to Boston Children’s Hospital, they learned she had a rare intestinal disorder. Georgia had surgery at a month old and returned for more than 30 inpatient visits and additional surgeries. With expert care, she grew stronger and recently celebrated a year without an overnight stay. Now 7, Georgia has a sunny personality and stands at the top of the pyramid in cheerleading. Georgia’s courage and resilience are so inspiring and we are thrilled she is our 2025 Patient Champion for cmnhospitals!

We are excited to watch Georgia shine and help make miracles happen for so many children and families. Let’s join her in making a difference! 💛
