Scheduling an appointment

To schedule an appointment or consultation with the pediatric or adult Cystic Fibrosis Program, please call 617-355-1900 and select option 2. Appointments are available at our main campus in Boston for both programs and, for our Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Program, at Boston Children’s Waltham. Some subspecialty care for both programs is also available at our other satellite locations — inquire when scheduling.

To speak with a nurse

Nurses are available to answer clinical and prescription questions, review test results, and address urgent matters when they arise.

LIVE nursing calls are from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday to Friday. To speak with a nurse during LIVE call hours, call 617-355-1900 and select option 3. Then select option 1 to speak with a nurse.

During all other hours, you will be prompted to leave a message and someone will return your call.

Pulmonary Lab

The Pulmonary Lab can be reached at 617-355-7510 to schedule pulmonary function tests (PFTs), sweat tests, exercise studies, or for any questions for the technicians.

Medication refills

For medication refills or to leave a non-urgent message, please call 617-355-1900 and select option 3. You can also send your request through the MyChildren’s Patient Portal.

Medical emergencies

If a medical emergency arises, please call 911. For any clinical issues, the pulmonary fellow on call can be reached at 617-355-6369.

International patients

For families residing outside of the United States, please contact Boston Children's Global Services, which facilitates the medical review of patient records and appointment scheduling and which provides assistance with customs and immigration, transportation, and hotel and housing accommodations.
